On January 29, Cigare et Compagnie launched its 2026 season with an evening that will be remembered for a long time: Sigaro a Firenze.
A generous, elegant and passionate Italian immersion, where fine food and exceptional cigars went hand in hand throughout the evening.

From the moment the 30 guests arrived, the mood was set: a warm room, Italian accents, laughter, and that delightful feeling of taking part in something special. The first evening of the year had to be exceptional… and it was.

A Privileged Encounter with the OLIVA House

The evening had the honor of welcoming Tugdual, representative of the prestigious Oliva house, who came to share his expertise and passion with the guests.

To open the tasting, guests discovered a superb Robusto Master Blend 3.
A rich, complex cigar, with deep aromas of cocoa, sweet spices and fine wood, carrying that controlled power that is the signature of the line. An intense start, perfectly suited to the energy of a season-opening evening.

For the second part of the tasting, elegance took center stage with a magnificent Lancero Serie V. Slimmer and more refined, this cigar offered a fine, structured smoke with notes of fine pepper, leather and roasted coffee. A vitola that demands attention and time… exactly what the guests had come for.

Tugdual’s presence added an extra dimension to the evening: anecdotes, explanations of growing regions, manufacturing secrets… A lively, hands-on tasting that helped everyone better understand the brand’s DNA.

A 100% Italian Dinner by Reda

At the table, the journey continued thanks to the talent of Reda, the maestro of the restaurant Il Fiorentino in Montauban.

The dinner, entirely inspired by Italian tradition, was a true celebration of flavors. Authentic ingredients, generosity, precise cooking and a love of detail… every plate told the story of the real Italy. The kind that warms you, brings people together and makes you want the moment to last.

The pairings between the dishes, the wines and the cigars found a natural balance, creating that special alchemy so characteristic of Cigare et Compagnie‘s evenings.

An Evening Centered on Sharing

Beyond the cigars and the dinner, Sigaro a Firenze was, above all, an evening of encounters, conversation and conviviality. Amid the wisps of smoke, conversations naturally formed, laughter rang out and time seemed to slow down — just as it should during a tasting that invites you to savor every moment.

This first evening of 2026 perfectly embodied the Cigare et Compagnie spirit: cigars selected with rigor, passionate partners, an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, and above all, the genuine pleasure of sharing a moment away from the everyday.

This evening wouldn’t have had the same flavor without the people who made it possible. A huge thank you to Tugdual and the Oliva house for their presence, their infectious passion and the quality of the cigars presented. Thank you also to Reda, for his warm welcome and his generosity in the kitchen, which took guests on a journey to the heart of Italy for the length of a dinner. A big thank you to Jean-Marie from Le Lalande, a loyal and essential partner, always ready to support great cigar initiatives. And finally, all our gratitude to José, a talented photographer, who captured these stolen moments and shared wisps of smoke with such sensitivity.
