On Saturday, July 25, Cigare et Compagnie had the privilege of hosting a cigar bar for the wedding of Guillaume and Taciana, at the beautiful Domaine Monplaisir, in Caylus. A service marked by elegance, discovery and sharing, where the cigar became the common thread of an evening filled with emotion.
A cigar bar designed to tell a story
It all began several months before the wedding, when Guillaume contacted me after discovering Cigare et Compagnie online. Very quickly, our exchanges went beyond the simple framework of a service. Together, we imagined a genuine cigar-dedicated space, able to blend naturally into their reception while offering their guests an original experience.
The story of this wedding deserved a special nod.
Taciana, the bride, is of Brazilian origin. It was unthinkable, then, to select a cigar without referencing her home country. Alongside a Villa Zamorano Intenso and an Eiroa The First 20th, my choice naturally fell on the CAO BX3, a particularly original vitola whose blend celebrates Brazil with three Brazilian tobacco leaves: a Mata Fina wrapper, an Arapiraca binder, and part of the filler sourced from the finest Brazilian plantations.
Beyond its identity, this cigar offers a generous and perfectly balanced tasting, blending notes of cocoa, spice and roasted coffee with a beautiful roundness on the palate. A selection that made perfect sense to celebrate the union of Guillaume and Taciana.
Guillaume had also been won over by the philosophy of Cigare et Compagnie: offering far more than simply handing out cigars, by guiding every guest through a genuine discovery of this world.

An entertainment where curiosity gave way to pleasure
Set up from the cocktail hour onward, the Cigar Bar quickly became a place to meet and connect.
Guests approached with curiosity, asked their first questions, examined the cigars, discovered the different accessories, and then let themselves be guided in choosing their cigar.
Many of them had never smoked a cigar before. Yet a few minutes were enough for any apprehension to disappear. Together, we took the time to choose the best cut, explain the different lighting techniques and cover the first gestures needed to fully enjoy a great tasting.
Conversations quickly multiplied around the cigar bar. Stories, discoveries and smiles followed one another in an incredibly warm atmosphere.
One detail struck me in particular during this evening.
I had never before seen so many women try a cigar for the first time at a single event. Their curiosity, their enthusiasm and their natural desire to discover this world played a big part in creating the warm atmosphere that will stay with me for a long time.
These moments are a reminder of just how much the cigar is, above all, a wonderful vehicle for connection. Regardless of anyone’s level of experience, it brings people together, sparks genuine conversation and simply invites everyone to enjoy the present moment.
Thank you, Guillaume and Taciana, for your trust
